Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation (HBCF) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by breast cancer. As part of our commitment to supporting this vital cause, we designed and built a website that serves as a valuable resource for breast cancer patients and their families.
What we did
The first stage of creating the new website included a brand refresh. While they didn’t wish to change the logo in its entirety, we decided to remove the bright pink balloons, and harsh magenta and black contrasting colours, and provide a softer more cohesive colour palette. Plenty of pink was still used throughout the new colours as pink has become wildly synonymous with breast cancer. One of the key features of the new website is a custom-built “wellness hub” that provides clients with easy access to a range of resources aimed at assisting their cancer treatment. This hub includes information on nutrition, exercise, mental health, and other key areas of well-being that can help improve the overall health and quality of life of those dealing with breast cancer. We designed the hub to be user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to navigate, making it simple for clients to find the information they need.
