Merewether Podiatry

A sophisticated brand identity for a passionate podiatrist.

Andrew Burns, the founder of Merewether Podiatry and a dedicated podiatrist, is committed to keeping everyone on the move. With a deep passion for health and fitness, he strives to empower his patients to reach their fitness, lifestyle, and weight loss goals without being hindered by painful feet and ankles. Seeking to enhance their business visibility on a busy road, Design Bug were initially approached to fix their signage before we delved a little deeper.

An experienced podiatrist with a desire to keep all people moving.

What we did

When we were initially approached by Merewether Podiatry, their immediate problem was that their signage was getting overlooked on a busy road – and they wanted to stand out. Once we met with Carla, wife and business partner to Andrew, it became clear that their overall brand wasn’t aligned with their vision. Their brand identity was tired and didn’t reflect the enthusiasm that Andrew has for his profession, business and patients.

We worked closely with Carla to develop a new brand identity that was a reflection of them, their clients and the clients they wanted to attract.

A sophisticated symbol has been created from linework depicting a foot pressure plate image. This is an elevated way of presenting a foot within the logo to immediately show MP customers that they are a podiatrist. The primary colour palette is inspired by nature and reflects the updated colour palette used in the recently renovated practice.
