Nutrient Nation is a nutrition and dietetics clinic with locations in Newcastle and Wagga Wagga, focused on making evidence-based nutrition advice more accessible and easier to understand.
The practice works with individuals and athletes looking to improve their health, performance and long-term wellbeing.
Founder Rebecca Haslam engaged Design Bug at a turning point in the business when the brand needed to evolve and better reflect its future direction. The project involved developing a new name, visual identity and website to position the clinic for growth.
The Thinking
The rebrand began with the development of a new business name that would reflect the clinic’s mission of making nutrition science approachable and empowering.
The brand needed to feel engaging and optimistic while maintaining the credibility expected from qualified nutrition and dietetic professionals. It also needed to appeal to clients seeking performance-focused advice, from everyday health goals through to sports nutrition and athletic performance.
The Identity
The Nutrient Nation identity centres around a strong typographic logo supported by distinctive brand elements. The primary wordmark was designed to stand confidently on its own across applications such as apparel and drink bottles.
A supporting icon system referencing healthy foods was developed to reinforce the clinic’s focus on using nutrition to support health and performance. The energetic cherry pink palette helps the brand stand out while communicating movement and optimism, balanced with strong yet approachable typography.
In Practice
The new identity was implemented across clinic signage, business stationery and a responsive website designed to clearly communicate services and support new client enquiries.
Together, the brand and website help Nutrient Nation present a professional and welcoming presence both online and within the clinic environment.
